Feria de Estepona 2024 – full of surprises
This year the Feria de Estepona is full of surprises! A lot of them involve horses – there will be horses and horse-driven carriages in the fairgrounds most of the days, as well as a competition of horse harnessing. There will be also a big-heads parade, fireworks by the beach, lots of music and dance during these days that celebrate Estepona. All this, plus the beauty of the garden city of the Costa del Sol, ensure these will be beautiful days. Let’s dive into the festivities and discover what more makes the Feria de Estepona an event not to be missed!
Estepona’s Town Hall has recently published the program of the Feria y Fiestas Mayores de Estepona, in Spanish. And they did a beautiful program! You’ll find below the translation and the locations of the main events, as well as pages from the original program. Don’t forget to bookmark this page so you can access it easily on the days of the Feria 😉 Clicking on the topics and dates you are interested in the table of contents takes you directly to that spot of the post. 😉
Directions to the Fairgrounds
Most of the Feria de Estepona will happen in the fairgrounds (Recinto Ferial), shown below:
The program of the Feria de Estepona includes a map of the fairgrounds, with the location of the main components of the fair. I don’t think the digital version of the map is very legible, though; but it does show clearly the location of the Municipal Booth (Caseta Municipal, the large yellow rectangle), which is where most of the attractions described in the program will take place, as well as the entrance to the Recinto Ferial, with a red arrow on the lower part of the image.

Conclusion
Even though the program focuses particularly on the events happening in the Municipal Booth, the Feria de Estepona is much more than that. We can count on funfairs and many more lively booths with their own sets of activities. On top of that, if you love horses, the Feria de Estepona is the place to be at the beginning of July; and if you have kids, I’m sure this will be a unique event for them: funfairs + horses… what else can they ask for?! Well, candies, of course, and I’m sure there will be plenty.
Whether you’re a local or a visitor, the fairgrounds will be alive with the spirit of Estepona, offering a blend of tradition and modern entertainment. Remember to check the schedule regularly and make the most of your time at the Feria. Enjoy the festivities and let the magic of Estepona’s largest fair bring joy and unforgettable memories!
