Christmas in Torremolinos 2024 – Once again, Torremolinos prepared a magical Christmas program, packed with events for the whole family, especially the youngest ones. We will have Santa Claus Village and the Christmas Park, as well as the Christmas market and the beautiful Christmas lights, that will be turned on for the first time already on November 29. Come see how beautiful it is going to be!

And talking about beauty, let me congratulate the designer and creators of Torremolinos 2024 Christmas program. It is beautiful, practical and succint, what a pleasure to see! Zambombá Flamenco ‘Callejón Canta a La Navidad’

Zambomba is a celebration that takes place in Andalusia in the run-up to Christmas. According to the Flamenco guide, “Friends and relatives gather in courtyards, squares or flamenco peñas (associations) to sing flamenco Christmas carols – accompanied by instruments such as zambombas, tambourines or even guitars, and spiced up with local wines, traditional sweets and cold meats.  There is usually a mix of religious and profane lyrics, and participants sometimes dance briefly to the music. The focus is on the communal singing.”

The Parish is just accros the square; you can see it in this same frame!

Notice that the square (Plaza) and the cultural center named after Picasso are actually far from each other. Don’t mix them!

Plaza Blas Infante and Town Hall

These two are also one accross the street from the other.

Right by the Town Hall.

Fairgrounds and Príncipe de Asturias Municipal Auditorium

The auditorium is part of the fairgrounds.

Christmas in Torremolinos 2024 will be remarkable. Torremolinos looks so pretty ‘dressed up’ for Christmas!
