Christmas and New Year in Fuengirola 2023/24

Christmas and New Year in Fuengirola are going to be special this 2023/24 season. There is already the Christmas market going on and, on December 1st, the City Council will unveil its new special illumination for Christmas. Not only that: there is going to be an ice rink, and the 3 kings will arrive by helicopter!!

Fuengirola has prepared a full Feria-like program. It is in Spanish only, so I translated it below, separated by day. I also added some of the events of the day besides the date, to try to help finding different activities – because this list is long. Finally, the locations are shown with Google Maps, for reference, when they appear for the first time (and when I could figure them out :). Ho Ho Hope you enjoy it a lot!

The museum will house the Municipal Nativity Scene made by the brothers of the Royal Brotherhood of Rocío de Fuengirola.
Schedule: Mornings from Tuesday to Friday (arranged groups).
From Tuesday to Friday: from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Obs: Though Fuengirola has a Calle San Isidro, it is a narrow street far from Avenida Jesus Santo Rein. This show – Route of the Elves – is a short-distance parade for kids and will happen several times during the Christmas and New Year in Fuengirola season, always covering a route of about 5 to 10 minutes walking distance. For this reason, I think the program meant to say Avenida Condes de San Isidro, instead of Calle San Isidro. I show the Avenida Condes de San Isidro below:

Their Majesties The Three Wise Men from the East will arrive in Fuengirola by helicopter.
After being received at the “Elola” Social and Sports Complex, the traditional parade of fantasy and illusion will begin.

5:00 p.m. MAGNIFICENT CAVALCADE OF THE 3 KINGS FROM THE EAST
The cavalcade will feature the participation of 25 luxurious carriages and innovative parades.
Itinerary: Calle Mallorca, Avenida de Mijas, Avenida Juan Gómez Juanito, Camino de Coín, Avenida Condes de San Isidro, Avenida Matías Sáenz de Tejada, Avenida Ramón y Cajal and Avenida de Los Boliches (ends at the monument to the Victims of Terrorism).
